Lukas Verzbicas (Sr., Sandburg, IL) is at it again. In one of the most intriguing and abnormal racing seasons we've seen at the prep level, Verzbicas is taking his talents this weekend to compete in the Boston Marathon Elite Men's Mile on Sunday, April 17. Verzbicas will go head-to-head with some of the better professional milers in the U.S. and world, as he continues to push his limits in his senior track season, before heading off to the University of Oregon in the fall.

Verzbicas is seeded fourth in the five man field, sitting behind Olympian Andy Baddeley of Great Britain and Americans Craig Miller and Kyle Miller. With Verzbicas sitting out his senior track season, not competing in the sanctioned Illinois high school season, fans were wondering when they'd seem him race next after his record-breaking indoor season.
